Lake Tahoe

There’s a reason why famous author Mark Twain once proclaimed Lake Tahoe as the “fairest picture the whole earth affords.”
Wrapped by the magnificent High Sierra mountain range, Lake Tahoe is a world-renowned vacation destination with extraordinary golf courses, beaches, hiking and biking trails, camping, fishing, boating and paddle boarding and so much more. In the winter months, it boasts the largest concentration of ski and snowboard resorts in the United States. And that’s just the beginning.
There could not be a more appropriate setting for one of the finest festivals in the west. In fact, there is so much to do and see at Lake Tahoe, and its surrounding region, that we encourage you to visit our local visitors bureaus to plan the perfect escape for your family and friends this year.
